Life Drawing - Session 17

We sketched 7 fast drawing of the model to begin the lesson today and I am happy with what I managed to get drawn, however I struggled slightly to fit them on one page. We attempted more perspective drawings of the same model as before, laying down on the mattress I felt like the first and third drawings worked out well but some adjustments could have been made to the second to accurately capture the  right angle of the mattress and her legs/ stomach. To finish the lesson we were tasked to draw the outline of the model and then draw the background around scene behind the outline. This was to help work on composition, so we were asked to draw the model off centre or higher or lower than the centre of the page. I found it difficult to get the outline of the model correct and then drawing items around the outline proved difficult too. I felt I managed to capture some perspective to the mat underneath the model in the second sketch though.

*During this lesson I felt faint and had to sit down, so the first composition drawing was cut short and I drew the rest of my drawings lower on the page and from a different angle to the usual.
