Crustacean Creature Silhouette Designs
Following 2 video guides online (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yKxY0KKrak and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=meIOValetZw), we used Photoshop to produce 3 creatures influenced by crustaceans. To create the bases for my silhouettes I first looked into what crustaceans I could use for inspiration; I chose to look into crabs, barnacles and various hermit crab shells. I made a moodboard out of the images that I planned to use and then began to produce a silhouette for each of my creatures. Once I was happy with my silhouettes I began to add light and show and smaller details in with different shades of grey. I then added an overlay layer to each of my designs and coloured them using the tones I thought best suited them.
