In class we watched a short film that explained the 'Half way to Black' method of creating form through value. We tried out the techniques as seen below and then were assigned the task of designing our own tank and using value on it. I looked through simple images of tanks and then chose to put our own cartoony touch on it. We were told to choose simple shaped tanks mostly made of cubes as its difficult to produce shadows for round objects. I struggled to draw the design digitally as usually but managed and to improve I could keep working on detail and value.
