Life Drawing - Session 8
Todays session entailed 5 short drawings as practise and then 3 longer drawings where we were asked to roughly draw the model and focus on the chair he was sat on. I think I managed to draw the chair slightly better each time and found the technique of looking at the shapes around the object to draw it very useful to produce accuracy. We then sat on the floor and drew the model looking up at him, this was to create the feel of a taller person, perspective wise. I found this fairly difficult to grasp, especially focusing on making the models head smaller and the rest of his body gradually larger.
